| FRANSMOR'S K-9 COMPANIONS |

HELLO, WELCOME TO THE FRANSMOR'S WEB-SITE. ALTHOUGH LEARNING TO USE A COMPUTER AND BUILDING A WEB-SITE IS PRETTY NEW TO ME, LIVING WITH K-9 COMPANIONS IS OLD HAT. DARE SAY, I HAVE LIVED IN THE COMPANY OF DOGS MY WHOLE LIFE. HAVING SAID THAT, I WOULD HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE A K-9 COMPANION THROUGH ALL THE MILE STONES US HUMANS GO THROUGH. I enjoyed a period of time showing my dogs. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. It was a bit intimidating and exhilarating all at the same time. I never got into the keep the dog in a crate, use a water bottle only, never let the coat become wet from the rain or snow, use the chalk to make the coat appear thicker or thinner, type of exhibitor. I showed and did OK by just taking the time it took to keep them bathed and brushed . I took them for walks around the block to help socialize them and to give them a change of scenery. I went to a few classes and above all I studied more experienced exhibitors. I took my young son and my daughter so as to blend two of my loves together. I did not make a career of it, but enjoyed it for the moment. After moving to Roscommon, MI in the woods & country things changed. The environment was quite a difference from the city sidewalks. The shows were much farther, and we just fell into the country living. The dogs loved running in the woods, playing with the chickens and all that kind of thing. I now keep them clipped shorter so the hair is more manageable. Now we just focus on the fun part more than the pretty part. I enjoy the entertainment the pups provide as they explore the big new world that I have become so accustomed to. To them everything is new and exciting. Raising, showing, and just owning the dogs has been my treasure. It has been one of the most rewarding efforts of my life. SUSAN MARVEL 7990 N. M-18 ROSCOMMON, MI 48653 |
